Fire Extinguisher Training

Raise the alarm, then the PASS technique on a Class A fire

  • Mouse: look around (click to capture the mouse, Esc to release)
  • W A S D: move within the training area
  • Enter or click: continue past the emergency plan briefing
  • Fire alarm: put the crosshair on the PULL handle, hold left mouse and drag the mouse down
  • E or click: pick up the extinguisher, G: put it down
  • Hold R and drag left: pull the pin
  • Hold right mouse: aim the nozzle on its own
  • Hold left mouse: squeeze the lever
  • S: back away into the SAFE RETREAT ZONE when told
  • To evacuate instead of fighting, stand on the green EVACUATE marker
  • Hold I: read the label and gauge. ` (backtick): debug panel
Meta Quest
  • Left stick: move (pull back to back away). Right stick: turn. Stand on EVACUATE to get out
  • A or X: continue past the emergency plan briefing
  • Fire alarm: GRIP on the PULL handle and pull your hand down
  • GRIP (middle finger) near the handle: hold the extinguisher; let go to put it down
  • Free hand GRIP on the ring, pull outward: remove the pin (or hold B / Y for 1 second)
  • Free hand GRIP on the nozzle: aim the hose
  • TRIGGER (index finger) on the holding hand: spray. A or X: try again
